Where Structure Meets Style: Supporting Elke Freytag Behind the Scenes at Vienna Fashion Week

Viennese fashion designer Elke Freytag has been part of the Vienna Fashion Week for many years. Her classic style and patterns are well known among the Fashion Week audience. In 2025 Elke needed styling and backstage support.

That’s where I jumped in. As a graduate fashion stylist for editorial and commercial styling, I structured the process in advance to the show, preapared the looks and did the fitting in the very fast paced environment of Vienna Fashion Week together with Elke.

The biggest success was the pop up fair following the show. Even before all the garments where unpacked, customers started to try on and buy what they saw on the runway.
